We live in response to God’s grace, love, and mercy.
Because of God’s love, he is abundantly merciful towards us, saving us by his grace (Ephesians 2:4-5). Even before we made a step of faith towards God, he was already pursuing us. Therefore, though done imperfectly, we pursue him in light of what he has already done for us (1 John 4:19).
We journey with each other on the path to healing.
We all have our stories. Whether it’s past church hurt, broken relationships, life’s hardships, and everything in between, we are committed to holding and carrying our burdens together as we journey towards wholeness (Galatians 6:2).
We eat together.
Sharing meals together is a tangible expression of grace, love, and community (Acts 2:46). Table fellowship is a way to slow down and enjoy each other’s company – and food! Eating together is one of God’s ordained ways to nourish our body and soul.
We love our neighbors.
A real love for God is demonstrated by our love for our neighbors (Matthew 22:34-40). The outworking of our faith includes pursuing the spiritual, emotional, physical, and social wellbeing of those around us. Our neighbors and neighborhoods matter (Jeremiah 29:4-7).
We stand in the tradition of the ancient church.
We are a young church with a historic, ancient faith. We believe in the teachings that have been passed down through time and appreciate the spiritual rhythms and practices of our siblings who have come before us (2 Thessalonians 2:15).
We welcome conversation, questions, and doubts.
Whether you are a Christian or a religious “none”, we value your questions and doubts. We may not have all the answers, but we are committed to navigating with you and hope for gracious dialogue that will lead to a better understanding of Jesus (Luke 24).
